How it works

1.

Approved artwork supplied

You provide the approved original artwork, usually portrait and landscape key art.

This may include:

  • Key art and Title Treatment
  • Billing block
  • Cast names and Taglines
  • Release or date line
  • Logos, bugs or ratings where required

Market information collected

We acquire the location-specific information needed for each market.

This may include:

  • Translations
  • Local release dates
  • Logo requirements
  • Age ratings
  • Billing rules and any market-specific details.

Everything is then organised within our system so we have everything needed for localisation before production begins

Hero Suite created

We build a master “Hero Suite” for each creative. This usually includes between 3 and 13 core sizes, depending on the campaign. These approved sizes become the template source for MAGI.

The Hero Suite includes:

  • Key layout options
  • Final billing, bugs, cast, tagline and date line
  • High-resolution retouching and finishing
  • Artwork preparation and technical checks

4.

Market elements prepared

For each market, we prepare the localised elements needed for production using the information gathered at stage 2.

If localised title treatments are needed, XYi can create them, or they can be supplied in advance.

MAGI automation

Once the Hero Suite and market data are approved, MAGI creates the required standard sizes.

MAGI automatically places the correct localised elements into each layout and adds required mechanical and legend information where needed.

6.

Proofreading and Creative Approval

Our team checks every output against the approved original artwork and supplied market data.

Ensuring that the integrity of the master creative has been preserved, that all the information included is correct, and that any alterations to the original layout are legally viable.

Proofs are then shared with you for review and final approval.

Final delivery

Once approved, we flight-check each final artwork and then MAGI will automatically package all elements for final delivery.

Files are supplied to the required specifications and delivery method for each market, vendor or platform.
