Established in 1999, XYi Design is a London based agency with 25 years experience in the localisation of major international entertainment campaigns across both print and digital media. We work for some of the biggest film studios including Paramount Pictures International and Universal Pictures International.
We are looking for a Mid-Weight Motion Designer to assist the digital team in producing and delivering highly accurate finished materials.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include re-formatting localised digital out of home animations, and living one sheets along with contributing to the general work that XYi Design offers its clients. Job Spec
- Based mainly in the entertainment industry we are looking for a mid-weight motion graphics designer with a keen enthusiasm to work in a busy studio environment.
- A minimum of 3-4 years industry experience.
- This person will be confident working individually as well as being able to work well within a team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail is a must and ability to follow strict corporate guidelines.
- A strong desire to learn and progress within the industry.
- A strong understanding of After Effects is essential while Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator knowledge would be beneficial.
- A good understanding of the C4D interface.
- Localisation or versioning experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Repurposing supplied Trailers, TV Spots, digital footage and tool kit animations into multiple formats / compositions
- Improving AE skills and familiarising themselves with the different plugins
- Delivering finished digital materials to new and bespoke specifications
- Sourcing creative assets from external repositories
- Managing assets for approval purposes
Key attributes:
- Strong understanding of After Effects
- Good Technical knowledge of video outputs and an ability to interpret bespoke technical requirements from client for different screen outputs
- Familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Cinema 4D / Maya or Adobe Premiere Pro is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail
- Deadline driven
- Basic technical knowledge of video outputs
